Responsibilities
Analyze budget to boost and maintain the restaurant’s profits
Develop budget to determine cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies
Monitor staff performance
Plan and organize daily operations
Set staff work schedules
Supervise staff
Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms
Cost products and services
Organize and maintain inventory
Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
Participate in marketing plans and implementation
Address customers’ complaints or concerns
Skills
Proven experience in restaurant management or as an assistant manager within the food service industry.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety standards.
Proficient in cash handling and experience with POS systems
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
Strong customer service orientation with effective communication skills.
Experience in inventory control, budgeting, and financial management within a restaurant setting.
