We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Human Resources to lead our HR department. What You’ll Do:

• Strategic HR and Team Leadership: Develop and execute HR strategies, policies and programs that support organizational goals and promote a culture of excellence.
• Talent Acquisition and Management: Oversees and holds accountability for the organization’s recruitment, staffing, and retention strategies, ensuring the development and execution of effective approaches to attract and retain top talent.
• Employee Relations: Oversee employee relations, ensure concerns are addressed, and maintain a positive and respectful work environment.
• Safety: Responsible for implementation and maintenance of a safety system in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Compensation and Benefits: Oversee compensation and benefits programs.
• Performance Management: Provide oversight and strategic direction for the development and implementation of performance management systems and processes.
• Legal Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations.
• Data Analysis: Provide leadership and guidance on the analysis of HR data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

Who You Are:

• A dynamic leader with a Master’s degree in human resource management or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Equipped with 10+ years of experience in the human services sector and 6+ years in a leadership role.
• Expert knowledge of multiple HR disciplines.
• Effective time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and initiatives.
• Apply critical thinking and thought leadership to diagnose complex performance issues and work with leaders to prepare solutions and support implementation.
• A team builder who excels in empowering and guiding others to success with the. ability to form strong relationships and professional working alliances with internal and external stakeholders.
• A communicator with exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Knowledgeable about applicable legislation, financial stewardship, and resource allocation.
• Professional designation (CHRP, SHRM) is an asset.

Salary range $113,929.92 to $154,155.46, depending on experience.
