Experience Requirement: Minimum 2 years experience in an Industrial Painter role, with experience in surface preparation methods (abrasive blasting, power tools, hand tools) as well as operating and maintaining coating and blasting equipment.
Language Requirement: English

Pro Paint Canada Paint is an established sandblasting and painting company specializing in industrial and heavy equipment surface preparation and coatings. Pro Paint Canada is seeking ten experienced painters to join their team. Duties and Responsibilities:

– Prepare surfaces through abrasive blasting, sanding, grinding, washing, and solvent cleaning.
– Apply industrial coatings using spray, brush, and roll techniques in accordance with specifications.
– Select appropriate paint or mix paints using automated paint mixing equipment according to a predetermined formula.
– Operate and maintain painting and coating equipment (spray pumps, blast pots, compressors, etc.).
– Inspect surfaces and completed work to ensure proper adhesion, coverage, and finish quality.
– Ensure compliance with coating systems, technical data sheets, and safety standards.
– Clean and maintain painting and coating, ventilation, compressed air and personal protective equipment.
– Work at heights, in confined spaces, or outdoors as required.
– Complete required documentation, reports, and quality records.
– Other duties as required including set-up, dismantling, and reassembly.
