Job Duties
The Home Support Worker will provide compassionate and reliable in-home care and assistance to an elderly client. Duties include:

Administer bedside and personal care according to the client’s individual needs.

Assist the client with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and other aspects of personal hygiene.

Administer or assist with medications according to the client’s prescribed medication schedule and instructions.

Assist with feeding and ensure the client receives nutritious and appropriate meals.

Prepare and serve nutritious meals and assist with meal planning as required.

Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living.

Provide companionship and emotional support to the client.

Assist with safe mobility and movement within the home as required.

Launder the client’s clothing, linens, and household items.

Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties related to maintaining a safe and comfortable living environment.

Monitor the client’s comfort, safety, and general well-being and report any concerns to the employer or appropriate family member.

Follow the client’s established care routines and provide respectful, patient, and attentive support.

Skills and Qualifications
The successful candidate should be compassionate, patient, dependable, and respectful toward elderly clients. The candidate must be able to provide personal care, follow care instructions, assist with daily activities, and maintain a safe and supportive home environment.
