Job Position: Home Child Care Provider
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
Hourly Wage: $20
Work Hour: 30 hours per week (overtime may be required)
Work Location: 2280 Haywood Ave, West Vancouver, BC V7V 1X5
Language Requirement: English

I am seeking a caring and reliable Home Child Care Provider to provide nurturing support and guidance for my child in a warm home environment. The ideal candidate should be patient, attentive, and passionate about childcare. Accommodation in our home can be provided for free if needed, or I can help find affordable housing in or near the community.

Job Duties:

• Provide care and supervision for the child in a private household.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks.
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.
• Organize activities that promote the child’s physical, emotional, and social development.
• Assist with personal hygiene, dressing, and feeding as needed.
• Supervise the child’s indoor and outdoor activities and ensure their safety.
• Accompany the child to and from school, appointments, or recreational activities.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties related to childcare.
• Communicate regularly with the parent regarding the child’s progress and daily activities.

Qualifications:

• A high school diploma is preferred.
• Proven experience or demonstrated ability to work in this role.
• A clear criminal record check is mandatory.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliability, patience, and a warm attitude with children.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
