Work Hour: 30 hours per week (overtime may be required)

We are looking for a reliable Home Child Care Provider to care for our seven-year-old child. Your main responsibilities will include attending to the child’s basic needs and ensuring their safety. Additionally, you may need to perform some light housekeeping to maintain a safe and healthy home environment.

We are looking for a full-time candidate to work 30 hours per week. While we prefer regular hours (7:00 AM – 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM, ending at 6:00 PM), we offer flexibility. If overtime is needed on weekday evenings or weekends, we provide overtime pay at a rate of $30 per hour.

Job Duties:
– Provide high-quality daily care and supervision for a seven-year-old child.
– Prepare nutritious meals and snacks according to the child’s dietary needs and preferences.
– Assist with personal hygiene routines, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
– Nurture good health habits, good manners, and social skills.
– Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off of the child to and from school, adhering to the school’s schedule.
– Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities and games; ensure safety both indoors and outdoors.
– Monitor the child’s health, attend to minor illnesses or injuries, and administer medications if needed.
– Perform light housekeeping duties related to the child’s care, including cleaning up after meals and organizing the child’s play area.
– Communicate regularly with parents about the child’s progress and any concerns.

Qualification:
• Demonstrated experience in or ability to care for children is required.
• A clean criminal record check is mandatory.
• Possession of a Child First Aid Certificate is preferred.
• Proof of good health and vaccinations are required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Dependable, adaptable, patient, and nurturing.
