Job Position: Home Child Care Provider
Job Type: Full-time, 1-year Contract
Hourly Wage: $20
Work Hour: 30 hours per week (overtime may be required)
Work Location: 5121 44B Ave, Delta, BC, V4K1J2
Benefits: 10 days paid vacation per year.
Personal health insurance if you don’t have MSP

Job Duties:
• Provide attentive daily care and supervision for a seven-year-old child and a one-year-old child.
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks according to the children’s dietary needs and preferences.
• Assist the children with daily routines, including dressing, bathing, diaper changing, and personal hygiene.
• Feed, comfort, and care for the younger child, and help maintain regular feeding and sleeping schedules.
• Take the children to and from school, activities, appointments, and other scheduled outings as required.
• Plan and participate in age-appropriate educational and recreational activities while ensuring the children’s safety both indoors and outdoors.
• Encourage positive behaviour, healthy habits, and social development.
• Monitor the children’s health and well-being and report any concerns to the parents.
• Perform light housekeeping duties related to the children, including cleaning up after meals, washing the children’s clothing, and keeping play and activity areas tidy.
• Maintain regular communication with parents regarding the children’s daily activities, progress, and needs.

Qualification:
• Demonstrated experience in or ability to care for children is required.
• A clean criminal record check is mandatory.
• Possession of a Child First Aid Certificate is preferred.
• Proof of good health is required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Dependable, adaptable, patient, and nurturing.
