Job Position: Home Child Care Provider

Job Type: 1-Year Contract, Full-time

Hourly Wage: $19

Benefits:
• 10 days paid vacation per year
• Personal health insurance if you don’t have MSP

Work Hour: 30 hours per week
• Overtime may be required and will be compensated accordingly

Work Location: 7351 Petts Rd, Richmond, BC V7A1J9 Canada

Language Requirement: English

We are a warm and welcoming family looking for a reliable and compassionate Home Child Care Provider to care for our two children, aged 5 and 8. Your primary responsibility will be to provide nurturing, attentive care in a safe and supportive home environment. You are not required to live with us.

Job Duties:
– Supervise and provide high-quality care for children
– Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks
– Assist with daily routines including dressing, hygiene, and homework
– Engage the children in age-appropriate educational and recreational activities
– Accompany children to and from school or extracurricular activities as needed
– Maintain a safe, healthy, and organized home environment
– Perform light housekeeping duties related to childcare
– Monitor children’s behavior and communicate regularly with parents

Qualifications:
– Proven experience or demonstrated ability in childcare is required.
– A high school diploma is preferred.
– Possession of a valid Child First Aid Certificate is an asset.
– A clear criminal record check is mandatory.
– Fluent in English is required.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Must be patient, dependable, and love working with children.
