Hair Stylist Full Time

Annex FK Beauty Group operates a beauty salon that provides not only casual hairdressing and make-up service, but also comprehensive wedding service for Japanese couples. Our clientele is largely Japanese and Chinese who appreciate Japanese-style hairdressing and make-up because of the unique techniques and products. Our Japanese wedding services include hairdressing, make-up, costumes, photo-shoots and other services for traditional-style Japanese weddings as well as Western style ceremonies.

Annex is seeking two qualified individuals in the permanent role of Hair Stylist. Responsibilities include:
1. providing hair salon services; and
2. working with wedding couples in organizing their hair for the wedding and photo shoots (primarily for Japanese kimono-style weddings).

The successful candidates will have the following qualifications:
• completed related education for hairdressing;
• minimum three years of experience working in the hair styling field; and
• ability to do hair styling for Japanese style weddings.

Compensation will be negotiated depending upon the experience and qualifications of the successful candidate and will be at least $36.60 an hour and at least 30 hours per week. An annual bonus based on performance is available.
