Position: General Farm Worker (Livestock) – NOC 85100

PC Oosthuysen Farm is looking to hire 2 x General Farm workers in permanent (2 years), full-time positions on their farm located in Yorkton SK. (Expected start date: as soon as possible).

Job duties Include: Assist on mixed farming operation (grain and cattle). Tend to cattle, assist with feeding in the winter, calving, vaccinations and tagging. Assist with cutting grass and making bales. Upkeep of farm infrastructure and fencing. During seeding and harvest assist with taking water and seed to the field, assist with filling sprayers, harrowing, discing and rock picking. Take diesel to the field. Operate and maintain farm equipment, load trucks and move augers etc.

Wage: $24.98/hr (between 30-40 hours per week) Benefits: None (No overtime as per Saskatchewan Employment Standards for Agricultural workers).

Previous grain farming experience will be an asset. (No formal qualifications required). Ability to communicate in English preferred.
