Responsibilities:
Tasks:
1.Receiving: Receive the fresh produce (herring and alewife)
2.Storing: Rotate (by using forklift) and salt fish, put them in pails and stockthem in storage.
3.Smoking: Hang and drain fish, make the fire to create smoke and smoke them.
4.Packaging and shipping: make and assemble the boxes, pack the fish andload the boxes in the container
5.Filleting: Clean, cut and fillet fishes
6.Cleaning and Maintenance; Cleaning the smokehouse after operation hours.
Weight handling:
Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
Own tools/equipment:
Steel-toed safety boots, Gloves
