Wage: $23.50/hour; 30-35 hours per week
Overtime: As per BC Employment Standards Act
Benefits: 4% vacation pay (or as per BC Employment Standards Act)

Job Duties:
Assess children’s development to prepare learning plans tailored to each child’s needs
Develop and implement child-care programs supporting physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development
Lead activities such as storytelling, music, and physical activities
Encourage creativity through art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity
Guide children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits
Observe and report developmental or behavioural concerns
Discuss progress and concerns in staff meetings
Maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers
Ensure a safe, healthy, and supportive environment for children

Skills Requirements:
Education: Secondary School education required
Experience: 1-2 years of experience as an Early Childhood Educator
Certifications: ECE Certificate, First Aid, Emergency Child Care First Aid & CPR
Additional Requirements: Criminal record check and medical exam
