Child caregiver – private home Full Time

Major Intersection: St. Clair Ave. E and Mt. Pleasant Rd.

Salary: $11.54 Hourly, for 44 hours per week

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 10:00 am to 6:00 pm

Thursday 10:00 am to 10:00 pm + overtime as required with 30 minutes paid meal break.
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time

Start Date: As soon as possible
Language: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): CPR Certificate, First Aid Certificate
Experience: Experience is an asset
Children’s Ages: 1 year old

Additional Skills: Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents, Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
Work Setting: Employer’s home, Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment.
Specific Skills Bathe, dress and feed the child, Instruct the child in personal hygiene and social development, Prepare and serve nutritious meals, Supervise and care for the child, Tend to emotional well-being of the child; Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, Discipline the child according to the methods requested by the parents.
