Caregiver Full Time

About the Role:
We are a welcoming Canadian family seeking a compassionate and reliable caregiver to assist with the daily care and support of our loved one. The ideal candidate should have genuine care for others, patience, and experience working with children, seniors, or individuals with special needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and mobility support to an elderly woman.
• Monitor and assist with daily living activities to promote comfort, independence, and dignity.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals in accordance with dietary needs and preferences.
• Administer medications and assist with prescribed health routines under the direction from healthcare professionals.
• Perform light housekeeping duties such as cleaning, laundry, changing linens, and maintaining a safe, sanitary living environment.
• Accompany clients to medical appointments, therapy sessions, and social or recreational outings.
• Offer emotional companionship, active listening, and social engagement to reduce isolation and promote mental well-being.
• Observe and report any physical or behavioural changes in the elderly woman’s condition to supervisors or family members.
• Assist with exercises, rehabilitation activities, and mobility aids as recommended by healthcare providers.
• Maintain accurate daily records of care, meals, and medication administration.
• Support the elderly woman in managing household tasks and errands such as grocery shopping or organizing personal belongings.
• Uphold confidentiality, cultural sensitivity, and respect for privacy at all times.
