Job Summary:
A Bookkeeper at R.N. APEX SOLUTIONS LTD. plays a vital role in ensuring smooth financial operations by maintaining accurate records, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, preparing financial reports, and supporting tax preparation processes while ensuring compliance and confidentiality.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
• Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
• Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
• Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
• Post journal entries
• Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
• Prepare tax returns
• Prepare trial balance of books
• Reconcile accounts
Minimum Skills Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school is required;
• Completion of a post-secondary degree/diploma in field of accounting is an asset; OR One year Prior accounting work experience is required;
• Good working knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required;
• Fluency in written and verbal English is required;
• Must be dependable, reliable and have effective interpersonal skills.
