What you’ll be doing…
This position is responsible for providing all academic teams with information and research to support institutional assessment, accreditations, academic planning and decision making and provide information that supports program development and review/renewal. Under the direction of the Director, Academic Operations & Systems, this position will lead academic reporting and analysis initiatives and projects, work with labour market data; integrate various data sources to create program health dashboards for a variety of key internal stakeholders, leverage data through our Cognos and PeopleSoft systems and complete statistical and analytical research to support decision making and planning.

Minimum qualifications:
· Bachelor degree in business, education, social sciences, or another relevant discipline with an analytical focus or relevant industry experience.
Minimum experience:
· At least three (3) years direct experience in delivering meaningful, timely and accurate reporting using large data sets, and conducting analyses of data to aid in key decision making processes
· Experience with social / educational research methods and statistical analysis using a variety of research tools such as SPSS, Cognos, Excel
· Experience with PeopleSoft (Student Administration) and SPSS would be an asset
Minimum skills and ability:
· Knowledge of current trends in evaluating the student experience and learning centered practices in community college education
· Ability to analyze and assess technical and operational data, generate reports using databases, and standard statistical methods, skills in collecting, analyzing, verifying, and manipulating research data
· Knowledge of and experience with survey methodology would be an asset
· Proficient in windows-based computer applications including all Microsoft Office applications and Outlook, advanced excel skills preferred
· Effective writing and presentation skills and the ability to convey technical and statistical information to a non-technical audience
· Superb presentation, communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills
· Ability to work effectively in a complex college environment with the ability to build and sustain working relationship with key internal and external stakeholders
· Strong organizational and time management skills in planning, executing and completing tasks
· Ability to ensure accuracy of work, take initiative, exercise sound judgement, and work independently to meet deadlines
