Information Systems Specialist Full Time NEW
Purpose of the Role
The Information Systems Specialist manages hardware troubleshooting and leads clients through support processes, and in turn develops strong customer relationships over time. The Information Systems Specialist also ensures client delight by implementing and analyzing MDM rollout of Switchboard technology.
Responsibilities
• Meet with clients and internal teams to identify, analyze and document requirements for information systems, devices and integrations.
• Design, configure, test and implement system solutions, including mobile device management (MDM) setups, device provisioning workflows and customer system integrations.
• Analyze system and support data to find recurring issues and recommend improvements to Switchboard’s IT infrastructure and products.
• Develop and run quality assurance and testing procedures for new and updated systems, firmware and device configurations before rollout.
• Assess security risks to data, devices and software, and help develop policies, access controls and contingency procedures.
• Write and maintain technical documentation, system procedures and training materials.
• Advise clients on system configuration, deployment and best practices, and deliver training on Switchboard’s platform.
• Act as the escalation point for complex technical issues, finding root causes and coordinating fixes with the development team.
Requirements
• Experience configuring and managing Android devices and MDM tools
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and documentation skills
• Clear written and verbal communication in English
What experience you need
• Knowledge of the commercial transportation industry and its regulations
• Familiarity with Shopify or similar platforms
• Experience with electronic logging devices (ELDs) or fleet management systems
• Ability to communicate in Punjabi or Hindi
