Hours per Week: 35 to 44 hours per week
Shift Schedule: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, Early Morning, Morning
Wage: $21.95 per hour
Overtime Wage: $32.93 per hour (applicable after 48 hours per week under NS labour standards)
Benefits: 4% Vacation pay. Medical benefits available after 6 months of work.

Job Description & Key Responsibilities:
We are seeking an energetic, organized, and reliable Assistant Manager to oversee daily operations at our busy Tim Hortons location. Key duties include:
Supervise, co-ordinate, and schedule the activities of shift supervisors and team members.
Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure optimal guest service.
Maintain accurate inventory records, order food supplies, equipment, and paper goods.
Supervise and check assembly of food and beverage orders to maintain strict brand standards.
Ensure rigorous health and safety regulations, food handling safety, and sanitation standards are met daily.
Train new staff in job duties, sanitation protocols, safety procedures, and customer service excellence.
Resolve customer complaints and ensure a positive guest experience.
Assist the General Manager with daily financial logging, balancing cash registers, and preparing safe drops.
Employment Requirements:
Language of Work: English
Education: Completion of secondary school (High School diploma) is required.
Experience: 1 to 2 years of supervisory or management experience in the food service or hospitality industry is required. Past experience in a fast-paced, quick-service restaurant environment is a strong asset.
Ability to Supervise: 16–20 people.
