We are currently seeking a Foundry Supervisor to join our team in Brampton, Ontario.
Responsibilities
Supervise, coordinate and schedule the daily activities of foundry personnel.
Ensure production targets, quality standards and customer delivery requirements are achieved.
Prepare production reports and maintain accurate operational records.
Train employees in job duties, company policies and safe work practices.
Recommend and implement measures to improve productivity, efficiency and product quality.
Coordinate the requisition of materials, equipment and production supplies.
Assist with machine and equipment setup to support production requirements.
Monitor production processes and ensure compliance with company quality standards.
Promote and enforce workplace health and safety procedures.
Work closely with Quality, Maintenance and Production departments to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
College diploma or equivalent experience.
1–2 years of supervisory experience in a foundry or manufacturing environment.
Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Work Environment
On-site position located in Brampton, Ontario.
Noisy, dusty and hot foundry environment.
Physically demanding work requiring attention to detail and manual dexterity.
Compensation & Benefits
$36.00–$37.00 per hour (40 hours per week)
