Title of position: Waterfowl Hunting Guide/Spotter

Number of Positions: Five (5)

Job duties: Scouting, spotting, guiding, calling, setting up and breaking down spreads. Talking with landowners. Reading RM maps. Cleaning birds. Leading guest hunters

Terms of employment: Seasonal. (Fall) Mid August 2026 through Late November 2026

Wage: $32.96 CAD/HR – $300USD a day based on an 11-hour day, lodging, fuel and food are all provided

Benefits package: Lodging, Fuel and meals are provided at no cost to employee

Language: Must be able to read, write & speak English

Location of work: Outside of Wainwright Alberta. NW 16, TWP 43, RGE 6, W4th., In designated hunting zones

Skills/Requirements: Previous waterfowl guiding experience
• Ability to call ducks & geese
• Be physically fit and be able to work long hours
• Have a trained retrieving dog, or experience with retrieving dogs is an asset
• Be flexible to work all days of the week (varied work days)
• Be willing to work outdoors
• Be self motivated
• Have a good attitude and relate well to clients
• Participate in setting up and breaking down spreads
• Be able to read RM maps
• Have a clean driver’s record
• Resume required
