Construction Painter Full Time

We are currently seeking a skilled Construction Painter to join our team. The successful candidate will perform surface preparation and apply protective and decorative coatings to interior and exterior surfaces at various construction sites.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces for painting
Repair cracks, holes, and surface defects using appropriate materials
Apply primer, paint, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
Mix and match paints to achieve required colour and texture
Apply wallpaper and other decorative finishes as required
Measure, cut, and apply coatings according to project specifications
Ensure proper protection of surrounding areas during painting activities
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
Follow workplace health and safety regulations at all times

Employment Requirements:
Completion of secondary school is an asset
Previous experience as a construction painter or in a related fi eld is required
Ability to work at heights and in various environmental conditions
Knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and equipment
Attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team

Preferred Skills and Experience:
Experience with multi-colour finishes
Familiarity with powder coatings and dipping techniques
Experience using paint spraying equipment

Work Conditions:
Work performed at various construction sites
Physically demanding; includes standing, climbing, bending, and lifting
Work may be indoors and outdoors in different weather conditions
