Job Title: Flat Roofer Apprentice
Position Overview:
We are hiring Flat Roofer Apprentices (Level 1–3) to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will work under experienced roofers to install, repair, and maintain flat roofing systems while gaining hands-on experience in the trade.

Job Duties:
• Install, repair, and maintain flat roofing systems under the supervision of experienced roofers, including modified bitumen/torch-on, EPDM, TPO, and PVC systems.
• Measure and cut roofing materials to specifications
• Prepare roof surfaces by cleaning, removing debris, and applying primers or adhesives
• Apply waterproofing materials to ensure proper sealing
• Set up and dismantle scaffolding, ladders, and safety equipment
• Assist with roof inspections and basic repairs
• Follow all workplace safety procedures, including fall protection requirements
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
• When required, perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school is an asset
• Registered as a Level 1 or Level 2 roofing apprentice, or willingness to register
• Previous roofing labor experience minimum of 1 year
• Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
• Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools is an asset
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• On-the-job training will be provided

Wage:
$30.00 to $36.50 per hour (based on experience and apprenticeship level)
• Wage increases may be provided based on performance and progression within the apprenticeship program

• Typical shifts are Monday to Friday, Day Shifts.
• Overtime and weekend work may be required based on project needs
