The Quality Control Checker in food and beverage processing is a “seasonal full-time” role offered at three employment locations in New Brunswick.”
The individual is responsible to some or all of the following tasks:
• Take samples of products at various stages of processing
• Examine ingredients or finished products by sight, touch, taste and smell or weigh materials to ensure conformance to company standards
• Conduct routine tests for product specifications such as colour, alcohol content, carbonation, moisture content, temperature, fat content and packaging
• Grade or sort raw materials or finished products
• Ensure hygiene and sanitation practices conform to policies and regulations
• Advise supervisors of ingredient or product deficiencies.
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Certificates: HACCP Certificate and Food Safety Certificate
Experience: 1 year to 3 years as a QC in seafood processing or any related experience
Language: English/French
Terms of Employment: Seasonal Full-time, average of 30 hours per week however hours varies and at times have long working hours during peak season.

Security and Safety: Bondable, Driving Record Check (Abstract) and Criminal record Check
Work Site Environment: Noisy, Odours, Cold and Wet/damp
