We are accepting applications for the 2026 crop season for the position of Farm Equipment Operator. Some positions could start as early as March. We have a total of 11 positions with a starting wage of $34.00/hour with an opportunity for higher wages depending on overall experience operating farm equipment and performing similar tasks. We also have a pay schedule based on the number of years worked here and duties performed. There his also an opportunity for a bonus at the end of the season depending on performance. THIS IS A SEASONAL POSITION ONLY. Our season usually runs from April until October or November.
Duties will vary depending on time period – will include (but not limited to) operation of farm equipment such as tractors (4wd and 2wd) pulling heavy harrow, picking rocks, cultivator, air drill, haybine; sprayer; highway vehicles; semi/trailer; swather; combine; and routine maintenance of equipment. There is also yard work and other physical work to do throughout the season.
Applicants are required to have a MINIMUM of 3 years of farm experience as well as a valid class 5 drivers license. Preference will be given to those with a class 1A license.
Work hours will vary depending on weather conditions and time of year. Busy seasons such as seeding (May), spraying (June/July) and harvest (August/September) could range from 10-16 hours per day (weather dependent) and 4-8 hours per day (Monday-Friday) through the rest of the season. There are times during the slow periods where work hours could be more limited, especially if weather is not favorable.
Our farm is located 12 km north of Humboldt, Saskatchewan; and most work duties will be carried out within a 100km radius of company headquarters (possible exception would be hauling grain, driving for parts, etc).
