Tindahan Grocery is a family owned business that opened in November of 2002. It was the first Filipino grocery store that opened in Richmond, BC. It offers different products from the Philippines like frozen and dried fish, ice cream, beauty products, canned goods, biscuits, chips, noodles, coffee. Currently we are looking for an experience baker to join our team.

Terms of employment:

Full-Time/ Permanent / Rotating shift work schedule

Salary:

CAD $17.00 hourly, for 40 hours per week.

Job Location:

Education:

Complete secondary school.

Experience:

Minimum 1 – 2 years of experience in related positions is required

Duties:

Prepare and cook special meals or individual dishes and foods
Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
Order supplies and equipment
Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
Inspect kitchens and food service areas
Train kitchen staff and helpers
Clean kitchen and work areas
Manage kitchen operations
Cooks may specialize in preparing and cooking ethnic cuisine or special dishes.
