You will provide daily guidance to your team including coaching on achieving results, coordinating activities, checking on quality and work progress. You will manage the service department personnel and the workload, overtime and overall demand on labor resource planning.
Location: Pickering, Ontario
Reporting Relationship: You will report to the Regional Manager, Field Operations.
Please note that this position requires a valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle
Guide and influence the work of your team, and you will mobilize resources to achieve operational and financial results for your area
Responsible for people leadership decisions including: hiring, rewarding, training, and developing team members
Work with sales teams on sales and rental equipment
Support team member engagement actions through their daily interactions with team
Review projects, define the equipment and service scope with customer and sales department
Monitor cost and overall profitability of projects
Lead team activities and coach technical aspects of work to meet schedules / targets; Provide technical assistance and training for local field technicians
Obtain inspection approval, customer approval, and monitor final invoicing preparation
3+ years of experience required in a field service delivery or relevant role
1+ years of experience in a people management role
Must have strong technical ability on electromechanical equipment
Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with internal and external partners
Fluent in use of MS-Office products, especially Word and Excel
Previous safety and hazmat training a plus
Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle
