Supervisor Full Time

Production Supervisor is responsible for providing direct supervision to both unionized and non unionized employees in our processing department. The successful candidate will develop and motivate a competent staff to assure a safe and efficient operation. Additional responsibilities will include safety, work scheduling, and assignment; employee training and ensuring production quality and quantity requirements are met.

Qualifications:

• 3 – 5 years manufacturing and leadership experience in a unionized environment.
• Post-secondary technical or business related education from an accredited college or university.
• Satisfactory PC skills are required including knowledge of Microsoft Access, Excel, and Word.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, team building, written and verbal communication skills.
• Previous experience in decentralized maintenance, TPM or Overall Equipment Efficiency an asset.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement, Kaizen, and familiarity with Lean manufacturing an asset.
• Pro-active demonstrated safety management experience and training a definite asset.
