Job Summary: Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, the Project Manager is the communications hub, a prioritizer, a researcher, a presenter, and is responsible for implementing initiatives and enhancements that lead to the ultimate success of the project assigned.
Salary Range: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00
Location(s): This role is fully remote with a preference for someone who could be at both our locations when needed. The ideal candidate would be able to come when needed. Locations include: 335 Steelcase Road East (L3R 1G3) and 61 McPherson Street (L3R 3L3).
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Software and Product Development projects from inception to completion.
Provide project management direction and guidance to project teams, adhering to proven project management methodologies, including Agile Scrum methodologies and processes.
Define and manage project charter, budget, scope, and project management plans.
Establish performance measures for project members and provide meaningful and timely feedback.
Recommend information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements.
Achieve financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing budgets; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; and initiating corrective actions.
Determine objectives and measures for project evaluation upon completion.
Oversee operational management of project resources and provide input on project documentation.
Collaborate with resource and functional managers to effectively resource projects.
Analyze and review key business processes related to projects.
Adhere to the project portfolio framework and defined standards and guidelines.
Develop and support innovative solutions aligned with system architecture and strategic goals.
Provide regular updates and information to project stakeholders regarding project progress and emerging issues.
Key Experience & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related analytical discipline.
Minimum of 2-3 years of project management experience in IT application development and product development projects.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
Certified Scrum Master designation is an asset.
Proven ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve extraordinary results in a high-performance culture.
Proficiency in project management and planning tools such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, etc.
Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to a diverse audience.
