We are looking for a Product Manager to lead the development and management of our payment terminals. You will be focused on enhancing the user experience for merchants, while maintaining security and compliance, and managing go-to-market activities . You will ensure that the applications in your product portfolio operate seamlessly across multiple devices. An emphasis on data-driven decision-making and an understanding of user experience in the mobile application context are crucial for this role
Contract Term: 10 months.
Location: You will be based in our Toronto office and will work in a Hybrid model.
Reporting Relationship: You will report to the Director, Product
Develop and implement product strategies for payment terminal application, ensuring understanding of business objectives.
Build and execute a 3-month to 18-month roadmap for assigned portfolio.
Lead an Agile team as the Product Owner, partnering with the Technology Lead and Product Designer.
Focus on streamlining the portfolio ensuring products at the end of their lifecycle are removed from market.
Utilize data-driven approaches to inform decision-making, product development, and enhancements.
Manage the application’s lifecycle, incorporating user feedback and market trends.
Collaborate with teams, including technology, design, and operations, to develop features that enhance user satisfaction.
Ensure the application’s compatibility and optimized performance across multiple devices.
Stay abreast of the latest trends in mobile applications, in the payment and retail sectors, to improve the product.
Bachelor’s degree required, or equivalent work experience.
Minimum 5 years experience working in a product management capacity, managing multiple products through the full product life cycle
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and best practices and use applicable tools.
Experience in strategic planning, project lifecycle management, portfolio management, compliance, and change management
Proficient in leading product roadmaps and requirements gathering and communicating progress/approach with peers, clients and leaders.
Knowledge and application of both theoretical and practical aspects of product management, including different product management tools and techniques
Work in teams across the organization with multiple partners and influence and align others
Experience in payment systems and the merchant acquiring business
