We are looking for an experienced Program Manager to support the governance of our transformation and innovation portfolio. You will drive cross-functional projects and programs that enhance operational efficiencies, foster innovation, and align with our strategic goals. You will contribute to strategic planning, project governance, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement to achieve sustainable transformation across the organization. You will ensure the portfolio is tracked and risks are managed.
Location: You will be based in our Toronto office and will work in a hybrid model.
Reporting Relationship: You will report to the Director – Strategic Programs and Innovation Delivery
Program Execution:
Maintain comprehensive program tracking, including status reports, timelines, and RAID artifacts, working with project managers for timely updates.
Support the coordination of resource planning to minimize capacity constraints and ensure efficient allocation across projects.
Governance & Compliance:
Support portfolio governance by upholding established standards, processes, and frameworks in collaboration with the PMO,
Create and optimize transformation office intake and governance processes, including the organization of program summits, to streamline operations.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Facilitate regular updates with project owners and the planning manager, tracking weekly progress and addressing issues proactively.
Engage with stakeholders through program summits and structured communication to report on progress, risks, and opportunities.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify and implement process improvements through periodic reviews, contributing to the development of optimized program management practices.
Work closely with PMO and planning stakeholders to refine intake and governance processes as needed for continuous alignment with business goals.
7+ years of experience in program management or governance, ideally within large-scale transformation or business change initiatives.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex, cross-functional programs with multiple stakeholders.
PMP certification and strong understanding of governance frameworks and methodologies.
Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage program-level risks, issues, and reporting.
Strong communication skills, with experience reporting to senior leadership and facilitating governance meetings.
Experience with program management tools and dashboards for tracking key performance indicators (KPIs).
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across cross-functional teams.
Proven experience in change management.
