At Studio TK, we are all about creating and manufacturing design forward, functional contract (commercial) furniture that makes social spaces thrive. Our focus is on creating products that promote meaningful human to human connections, which are more important than ever. While we talk a lot about the office, our products have been successfully sold into many different types of commercial environments. From lounges and cafes to public and private areas, our designs are tailored to transform and elevate the built environment. Check us out at – www.studiotk.com
What is so great about this role?
To start, we are on the lookout for an ambitious Vancouver based (or nearby) Market Manager to lead our sales efforts in British Columbia. Once you’re up and running, you’ll jump in to support sales initiatives across other provinces in the Western Region. The truth is, we compete in a crowded industry, and designers are overwhelmed navigating the options. So, our contribution to the industry is beautifully designed furniture with easy to navigate tools. We want you to become the design community’s ‘want to work with you’ go-to person, promoting Studio TK’s portfolio to architects, designers, end users, and dealers. We are part of the Teknion family which include products from Teknion, Teknion Architectural Interiors, Luum – & Studio TK. Until now, we have been promoted in Western Canada under the Teknion umbrella; with this new role we are cutting the apron strings and
going out to the market on our own. Your mission? Build our Brand presence and grow our market share.
What will you do?
You will hit or surpass your sales targets because you are a rockstar!
Most of your day will be focused on business development and uncovering sales leads within the A&D – Architecture & Design community. The rest of your time will be spent with potential or existing clients and our distribution partners (dealers). You will be free to dive into various vertical markets (education, healthcare, corporate, and hospitality) – whatever you think will bring in the most revenue. In the pursuit of sales opportunities, balancing various activities and responsibilities is crucial.
Here is a breakdown of some, probably not all, key activities and responsibilities you might encounter:
