As a juniorprocess engineer, you will be responsible for working with a team of engineers and analysts in conducting process and data analysis on assigned projects. You will collaborate with project stakeholders in collecting project requirements, developing process maps, conducting detailed data analysis, and time study.
In this role, the successful candidate will be required to work onsite at our Brampton, ON distribution center.

What you’ll do:
Apply Lean Six Sigma principles to identify optimization and continuous improvement opportunities in existing business processes.
Gather project requirements by working with members of the engineering team and stakeholders.
Perform detailed data analysis on performance metrics across the distribution center.
Support major project planning and implementation initiatives.
Develop forecasting models for processed data.
Perform quantitative simulation.
What we’re looking for:
Minimum 1 year of prior experience in process engineering.
Experience with data analytics tools like SQL (PL/SQL), VBA and proficiency in Excel.
Knowledge of BI tools (Tableau, Power BI), Statistics, MS Visio.
Prior experience working cross-functionally in an agile environment.
Knowledge and experience in AutoCAD.
Prior experience working on warehouse related initiatives.
Previous experience working on space saving and cost saving initiatives.
A bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent is preferred.
Certification in Lean and Six Sigma Green Belt is a bonus.
