Through the National Shipbuilding Strategy (NSS), the Government of Canada has embarked on one of the largest procurement projects since the Second World War. The NSS is a nation-building effort to create a sustainable Canadian shipbuilding industry, secure long-term job opportunities and build the next generation of ships for the Canadian Coast Guard and Royal Canadian Navy. Through its NSS-related work, Seaspan Shipyards is owning the redevelopment of our domestic shipbuilding industry on the West Coast and delivering on the promise of ships built in Canada, by Canadians.
Reporting to the Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis (Seaspan Shipyards), the Intern, Finance (FP&A) is supporting in delivering financial planning & analysis across the three shipyards at Seaspan Shipyards. This position collaborates with teams across operating divisions to consolidate financial data for the reports and analyze results. The ability to clearly communicate the results, very strong attention to detail, excellent interpersonal skills, flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities are essential for this role.
Note: Due to business needs, this position is required to be fully on-site based at 2 Pemberton Avenue, North Vancouver.

We require a full-time commitment Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week with an hourly rate of $26.00/hour.
Start Date of Internship: January 6th, 2025
End Date of Internship: May 2nd, 2025. There is possibility this position can be extended another 4 months.
