The Intern, Digitial Transformation Vessel Ops will focus on digitizing personnel files, clearance forms and correlating intelex reporting compared to our competences. These are critical tasks that often fall by the wayside, but is essential for successful system integration, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Note: Due to business needs, this position is required to be fully on-site based at 7700 Hopcott Rd, Delta BC
What you’ll do
Data Validation and Cleanup: The intern will help verify and correct employee data before system implementation, ensuring smooth data migration.
System Implementation Testing: They will assist with user acceptance testing (UAT), sample data entry, and documenting issues to ensure robust system deployment.
Document Archiving and Organization: The intern will establish a structured digital filing system to ensure records are searchable and retrievable.
Process Documentation: Documenting current HR processes to support knowledge transfer and consistency across departments.
Onboarding and Training Support: Assisting in updating training materials and preparing digital templates for smoother onboarding processes.
Data Analytics and Reporting: Supporting HR with data analysis and reporting on employee trends to enable informed decision-making.
Records Management Policy Review: Helping update policies to align with digital transformation and compliance with data protection laws.
Project Management Support: Assisting with scheduling, task follow-ups, and reporting for system rollout projects.
What you’ll bring
Enrollment in a post-secondary undergraduate program.
Administrative work experience.
Marine industry exposure is an asset.

We require a full-time commitment Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week with an hourly rate of $26.00/hour.
