IaaS Administrator Full Time

Globys is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented IaaS Administrator to join our dynamic team and support our global enterprise. As an integral member of our infrastructure team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and security of our production environment.

Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure Maintenance: Manage and maintain internal servers across multiple data centers and cloud environments ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• G3 Application Support: Provide remote administration and deployment for our flagship G3 application, both on virtualized and cloud-based servers.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues through effective troubleshooting techniques and communication.
• Backup Management: Maintain and optimize Veeam backup systems to safeguard critical data.
• Server Management: Build, configure, and patch Windows Servers, adhering to best practices and security standards.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance existing procedures and implement innovative solutions.
• Security Compliance: Collaborate with our security team to maintain a secure and compliant infrastructure.

• Other: Some off-hour support and on-call rotation. Occasionally travel as needed.

Qualifications:

• Strong technical proficiency with a working knowledge of Office 365 (Teams, Exchange, SharePoint, Azure AD).
• Experience with Ivanti Security Controls a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Customer-oriented mindset with a positive and collaborative attitude.
• Proficiency in Atlassian Products (Jira and Confluence).
• Experience with Active Directory, GPOs, multiple sites, and parent/child domains.
• Expertise in Azure, VMware vSphere, IIS, and certificate management.
• Strong PowerShell scripting skills.

Bonus Points:

• Experience with JSON, Linux administration and scripting, CI/CD pipelines, Palo Alto Firewalls, F5 Load Balancers.
• Certifications such as MCSE, A+, Net+, I-Net+, Security+, or Dell hardware knowledge.
• Familiarity with Terraform.
