We are looking for a Maintenance Technician with experience in the manufacturing industry. Under the direct supervision of the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and property structures. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
• Strong troubleshooting/problem solving skills of all aspects of production equipment including pneumatic, hydraulic, power transmission, electrical systems, PLC’s and control.
• Knowledge of robot automation would be an asset.
• Able to interpret drawings/schematics in hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
• Has an excellent mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Understand basic machining and knowledge of various fine measurement tools.
• Basic computer skills
• An understanding of maintenance management systems and preventative maintenance programs.
Related Experience:
• 3-5 years of experience in an Industrial production environment would be an asset.
• Technical vocational training is required. (Electro-Mechanical/Industrial Electrician)
