Vancouver Shipyards is looking for an experienced, entrepreneurial business leader to establish and grow a Program Services business line within Seaspan Shipyards – namely custom services based on Seaspan’s Program Management, Engineering, Supply Chain and Planning capabilities.
Reporting to both the SVP Strategy, BD and Comms and Chief Program Officer, your primary role will be to lead the “start-up” of a Program Services business at Seaspan. While the primary role will be growth of the business, you will also lead the business definition, growth, execution, and program management activities while providing leadership to multi-disciplinary, multi-departmental teams responsible for winning and executing multiple projects to successfully meet revenue growth and profitability targets.
You will also be responsible for holding senior customer relationships, interfacing and engaging with the Seaspan organization, managing program budgets, developing and managing both dedicated and shared qualified and capable resources, and reporting financial and program performance to the Seaspan Shipyards executive team.
Note: Due to business needs, this position is mostly required to be fully on-site based at 2 Pemberton Avenue, North Vancouver.

The estimated salary for this position is $166,500 – $203,500. In determining final salary, Seaspan considers many factors including the successful Candidate’s skillset and experience as well as position location and internal equity. The final base salary offer will be at the Company’s sole discretion and presented as part of a competitive total compensation package.
