Cook Full Time

The Big H Shawarma & Poutine Restaurant is looking for a cook with 1 to 2 years of experience working in a restaurant kitchen, ideally with experience in a shawarma restaurant. The Big H is located at 2450 Lancaster Rd Ottawa, ON K1B 5N3

Title: Cook
Position: Full-time (40h – 44h per week) & Permanent
Wage: $18.00 / hour
Location: The Big H Shawarma and Poutine Restaurant at 2450 Lancaster Rd Ottawa, ON K1B 5N3.

Experience: 1-2 years experience as a cook ideally in Shawarma.
Education: High School or equivalent experience
Languages: English
Schedule: Day/evening/weekends/nights
Working conditions: Fast-paced environment, Physically demanding, Standing for extended periods, Repetitive under pressure, Attention to detail
Skills: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food, Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, Clean kitchen and Assist in Managing kitchen operations, Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
