Cleaning Supervisor Full Time

Terms of employment: Full-Time/ Permanent

Salary: CAD $28.45 hourly, for 40 hours per week.

Education:

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience:

Minimum 2 years of experience in building cleaning and maintenance, experience in supervisor positions is an asset

Duties:

supervise and co-ordinate the work of light duty and specializes cleaners and janitors
Inspect sites or facilities to ensure established safety and cleanliness standards are met
Recommended or arrange for additional services required such as painting, repair and renovations work
Hire and train cleaning staff
Prepare work schedule and co-ordinate activities with those of other departments
Prepare budget, estimate costs and keep financial records
Receive payment for specialized cleaning jobs
May perform and assist certain cleaning duties

Other considerations

Ability to supervise 5 to 10 people
Repetitive tasks
Combination of sitting, standing, walking bending, crouching and kneeling.
Standing for extended periods are part of the work conditions and physical capabilities.
Attention to details
English – other language is an asset
